The Ebb and Flow table system is just that, a table that sits on a frame so to be higher up/above the reservoir. The plants sit on the table. As the table fills with water, the water runs across the roots of the plants at one end and runs across the table and down the drain on the other side. No control box on this hydroponic equipment

A lamp power Controller is a box that has a direct line to the electrical box on it's own fuse made for the power that grow lights pull, and is much safer than plugging into a wall plug. Comes with a whip, which is just a cord attached to the unit that you plug into a timer.

A lamp power timer controls the lamp power controller. It turns it on and off, and controls the start up if you lose power so not to hurt the bulbs from firing back up when hot. It also has a cool down time safety control, and can also run a fan, C02 injector, and Carbon filter fan at the same time.

C02 is big, this is what your plants breath in by using C02 your plants can uptake more nutrients and can handle more stress from heat and lights.

There are a few different mediums that you can use. I really like the hydroton clay pebbles after every grow all you have to do is wash them to use them again. I've been using the same pebbles for over 20 years.

I know, why a hand held PH meter? Well PH in hydroponics is big it can make or break you very quick. Always have a back up on hand for a few reasons, one to double check your water, two to make sure your tri meter is right after changing water and three to have a back up incase the tri meter breaks down.

Nobody wants a stinky house, keep it smelling nice and not letting everyone know what your doing to keep unwanted people away.

Fans are needed to keep the air moving. You don't want stale air. Move that air.

Hydroponic water temperature is BIG, this also can make or break your crop, too hot or too cold can harm your plants, keep them at a perfect temperature.

This is a must, you will be mixing your nutrients at different levels and need to know exactly what the levels are.
